Designed by Murray Isles as a 7m (23 ft) racing and cruising trailer sailer sloop and built by Jurgen Fredriks using the epoxy/ply West System this boat was launched in 1993. Tasway was the first boat built of her design and was constructed under the supervision of the designer to be used as the sales example of the design. The light wieght of 1600kg makes it easy to tow. Utilising water ballast and a retractable centre board the draught is 1' to 5'. Forward cabin comes with double berth and Porta Potti and the saloon provides another 2 berths, sink, LPG stove and plenty of stowage. Beam 2.4m (8' 2"). Headroom 1.62m (5' 3"). All set up for overnight stays. Effortless mast raising with unique custom built pneumatic ram system. 40l bladder water tank. All gear and sails in very good order.
